Dimple D. Todhunter, 95, family matriarch, passed away Feb. 25, 2005, in Pueblo, Colo. Born Oct. 22, 1909, in Welda, Kansas to Jessie and William Collins. Preceded in death by her husband, Carl A. Todhunter; son, James William 'Bill' Todhunter; sisters, Sarah Chesney of Pueblo and Nellie Schwindt of Kan.; brothers, Charlie Collins of Kan., Ray Collins and Uly Collins, both of Pueblo; and great-grandson, Luke M. Dace of Tenn. Survived by her twin sister, Hazel F. Dunlap of Idaho; daughter, Carol (Frank) Dace of Pueblo; son, Gary (Marilyn) Todhunter of Alabama; sister-in-law, Lucille Collins of Hannibal, Mo.; 16 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; and many friends. Dimple loved sewing, baking, gardening and flowers. Viewing at the funeral home Wednesday, March 2, 2005, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Funeral service, 10 a.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Daniel Day officiating. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. Family will receive friends and relatives following the interment at the cemetery's reception hall.   4. Mrs. Todhunter was a dear friend and sister in Christ for over 30 years. She was so full of zest and such a positive example to others. She fulfilled the purpose for life and will rejoice for eternity.

  5. We were so sorry to hear of Dimple’s death. She had such a full life of things that made her happy. The special birthday party that was given in her honor this past year, must have warmed her heart. She will be sadly missed by all who loved her. May our Lord and Savior comfort your hearts and restore precious memories of Dimple.
