  1. Chad,
I am so sorry for your loss. Words can’t heal the void that you have. Please know that we are thinking and praying for you and your family.
I didn’t know your son, Derrick but he had to have been a great kid with the parents he had.
We lost our son last summer and it really puts your life into perspective. What you thought were big things just don’t matter. If you need to talk please call, I won’t have any answers but I know that it helps.
Just remember God has a plan that we can’t see. It may not ever make sense to us.

  2. Chad, I’m sorry very sorry to hear about your loss. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers.

  3. My heart goes out to you…I did not know Derrick but I send my thoughts and prayers for your families, Chad and Dawn.I am sure he was a nice young man. Joe, we miss you 2nd blk, our class is thinking about you. We love you.

  4. My deepest sympathy on the loss of your son. It is so hard for a parent to lay a child to rest regardless of the age of the child, but it is especially hard when they are so young and full of life.
You will be united again with him and until that day cherish the memories. Restore that Mustang if you want to and can.
Prayers and God Bless all who knew this wonderful young man.
But he is not gone forever for one day you all will be united with him.
I never knew him personally, but I felt like I should put something on here.
    Respectfully,
    James DeCino
    Florence, CO

I always thought there would be more time to get to know you but it turns out you never know man. It feels so surreal & so weird because just last week you were here and now youll never have the opportunity to graduate with the rest of us in May & it makes me sad. I’m sorry dude, you deserved to walk with us but at least you’ll be watching down on us when we walk.Rest in Peace dude
