Della M. TeGrotenhuis, 83, passed away on October 8, 2015. Preceded in death by her husband, Paul K TeGrotenhuis. She is survived by her children, Joe (Myrna) TeGrotenhuis of Lakewood, Colo., Ann Bicknell of Arvada, Laura Guerrero of Glenwood Springs and John TeGrotenhuis of Pueblo; and grandchildren, Bob Bicknell, Sara Bicknell, Adriano Guerrero, Emilio Guerrero and Christina TeGrotenhuis. Lovingly known as Mrs. T., she volunteered extensively for the Girl Scouts and the Catholic Church. She was Minister of Christian Service, Extraordinary Minister of the Eucharist, and taught the Rites of Christian Initiation for Adults. Her loving kindness will be missed. Viewing, 1 to 5 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral Mass, 2 p.m. Friday, Oct. 16, 2015, at Christ the King Church, 1708 Horseshoe. John, Joe, Laura, Ann and families — Thoughts and prayers are with you all. Your mom was such a sweet and gentle lady. I worked with your dad for quite a few years and it was always nice to speak with your mom when she called. She is now safe and at peace in the palm of God’s hand. In sympathy, Donna Easdon.
