Dee Ann Battiste, 85, passed away May 2, 2024. Survived by her husband, Dr. Aldo Battiste; and children, Bill (Nikki) Carder, Marlinda Thompson, Polly (Keith) Randle; step children, Ace (Julie) Battiste, Gina Battiste, Bart (Ping Ping)Battiste; grandchildren, Lisa(Kole) Schwarte, Logan Randle, Jaren Randle, Lindsay (Matt) Leddy, Grant Wollert, Federico Prian, Luke Battiste, Bart Battiste Jr., Gianna Battiste; great-grandchildren, Quinn Schwarte, Declan Leddy, Jaxon Wollert.
She is preceded in death by her parents; stepson, Rafe Battiste;
son-in-law, Lee Thompson.
Dee Ann was born in Wichita, Kansas in 1939. She loved spending time with her family and Aldo, riding bikes, golfing, skiing, cooking and entertaining, swim meets, and playing bridge with her friends.
Dee Ann was active in the Boys and Girls Club and the Pueblo Country Club.
Celebration of life, 11 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2024, at the Pueblo Country Club.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made, in Dee Ann’s name, to the Boys or Girls Club of Pueblo, 635 W. Corona Ave., Suite 105, Pueblo, CO 81004 or to a charity of donor’s choice.
I am so sorry to read this. Dee Ann was a wonderful P.E.O. sister. She will be missed. My condolences to your whole family.
