Deda J. De Frece, born May 13, 1919, in Covington, Okla., passed away Nov. 30, 2000. Preceded in death by husband, William Byrne 'Bill' De Frece and son, Danny J. De Frece. Survived by daughters, Mary (John) Dolbey, Longview, Wash. and Barbara (Bob) Ratter of Phoenix, Ariz.; son, Jim (Mary Ann) De Frece, Pueblo; 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and sister, Inez Gibson, Puyallup, Wash. She will be missed by her neighbor and special friend, Earl Ware. Deda, a longtime resident of Pueblo, was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking and many handcrafts. She loved people, especially children, and brought much joy and happiness to those around her. Viewing, with the family receiving friends, today at the funeral home from 1-3 p.m. Service, 11 a.m. Monday, Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, Imperial. Memorials may be made to West Park Wesleyan Church.

  3. She was always full of laughter and enjoyed her visits with my grandmother, her sister, Inez tremendously. She will be greatly missed by those who loved her. We also praise God for finally taking her home so that she doesn’t have to suffer in this world any longer. God Bless Aunt Deda.
