Dean Michael DeCarlo was born to Mike and Jackie DeCarlo on June 2, 2003, in Pueblo, Colo. and was a graduate of PCHS, class of 2022. In the short 19 years we had Dean, he gave us a lifetime of happiness and love of life that we will hold and cherish forever. Dean and his sister Mikayla are more than just brother and sister, they are best friends, confidants and each other’s source of goodness and strength. Dean touched the lives of so many whether he was your teammate or just someone he just met, he made you feel like he had known you his whole life. His quick wit and amazing, welcoming smile made whatever day you were having instantly a great day! Dean’s dream was to become a teacher and coach, he received a scholarship from Sons of Italy and was planning on attending CSU Fort Collins in the fall. With his love of kids and passion for sports, Dean would have no doubt been amazing at being both. He enjoyed many sports, but found love in basketball and tennis and spent many hours watching his favorite teams: the Boston Red Sox, Boston Celtics, Warriors and Notre Dame but his most favorite pastime was hanging out with friends in which he was the life of the party. Dean’s family and his close circle of amazing friends will greatly miss him but will live each day knowing that we are living our lives striving to be as kind, compassionate and giving as he was in his short time with us. You are not gone from us, Dean, and are never alone because you will be forever with us in our hearts, minds and souls. We Love You so much Son, you just made Heaven better!
