David 'Dave' Paul Gorman, lifelong resident of Pueblo, died on May 23, 2012. He was born in Pueblo on Dec. 2, 1953, to Bill and Clara Gorman. Dave graduated from Centennial High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Southern Colorado in June 1976. Dave was predeceased by his father, Bill Sr. and brother, Bill Jr. and is survived by his mother, Clara; and niece, Tristan. A viewing will be held at St. Mary's Church, 217 East Mesa Ave., Pueblo, CO 81006, beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, May 29, 2012, followed by a funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. Entombment will be at Roselawn Cemetery, and a reception at Eilers Place will follow. Dave touched the hearts of many and will be deeply missed.

    I wish so much I could be there with everyone today for Dave’s funeral. He was such a wonderful kind friend. Tom will miss him terribly, as will I. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers and we are only a phone call away.

    You are truly one who will always be missed all around town and E. Mesa Ave as well as Elm Street..the walk from my aunties house to Eilers wont ever be the same i can still yell out “Hey Gorman!” you just wont be there to waive back..Rachel, Ryan and i have always thought of you as one of the “Uncles”..Your smile was priceless , your heart was giant and you touched many lives..It just hasnt settled in you are gone..living on you will always be within our memories of Eiler’s…Ryan remembered you let us borrow Disney’s UP and that we never gave it back..he said we will never get rid of it now for as long as we live….love and thoughts..Jen, Rachel and Ryan Young (aka to your family as Scotty B’s daughter and grandchildren)
