David Lee Gaffney

David Lee Gaffney, 60, passed away July 7, 2011. Survived by his children, Amanda (Tom) Russell and Dustin Gaffney; grandchildren, Garrett Gaffney, Ashlee Gaffney and Tyler Russell; four sisters; three brothers; and his beloved dog, Jake. Preceded in death by one brother. David was born to Matthew and Annabelle Gaffney in Eldorado, Kan. on April 8, 1951. He served in the US Army during the Vietnam War and volunteered at the VA Nursing Home. He enjoyed taking mountain trips in his jeep with his dog, Jake. He was a member of the Great Escape.
