  5. Jerry Dowd & family

I met you and Weegee a long time ago through your brother, Larry. Then I had the pleasure of meeting Weegee a second time and working with her at the Pueblo Depot Activity. She was always kind, had a smile for everyone, very positive. I remember her excitement of being a grandmother for the first time and the pictures she had brought for all to enjoy. Her family brought her a lot of happiness, and I am sure she will be missed by all who loved her.

Please know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

  6. Penny and family,
I am sorry to hear of Darlene’s passing. She was a great woman and an awesome mom. She was like a second mom to me thru our school years always there when we needed lunch, a ride or a friend. I will never forget all the things she did for me or the kind words she always had. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

  7. I worked with Darlene at EVANS and even though I hadn’t seen her since she left I had kept up on her condition through another co-worker. I was very sad to hear of her passing but also grateful that she is no longer suffering. Even though I only worked with her for a short time I enjoyed that time. My prayers are with her family. May God be with you and keep you wrapped in his loving arms during this time.

    Mrs. Sharon Towner

I know there are no words that can really comfort you at a time like this, but please know that our hearts and prayers are with you. Your mother was a strong woman who loved you very much. Now she can keep watch over those grandkids from heaven.

With your permission, we have chosen not to send flowers. Instead we have made a donation to the American Cancer Society in Weegee’s name, in hopes that a cure will be found and others might find hope from your loss.

I wish there was some way we could be there with you, but circumstances will not allow it right now. You are in our prayers.
