Daniel C. Studen born to Evelyn (Mueller) and Dan Studen, Jr., in Pueblo, December 21, 1934, passed away April 14, 2009. Survived by his wife of 28 years, Karen; brother-in-law, Richard (Kathleen) Sharpe, Salida; niece, Amanda (Alan) Eckman, Golden; nephew, Luke (Wendy) Sharpe, Salida; two brothers, Mike and Don; sister, Diane; and son, Dan, all of Pueblo. Dan was predeceased by mother, Evelyn; father, Dan; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Edith and Lee Sharpe. Dan attended Pueblo schools and graduated from Centennial. He served in the US Army; and worked for the City of Pueblo Police Department from 1959-1990, retiring as Sergeant. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 1:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, 2009, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Reverend Fr. Mike DeSciose officiating. The family requests the omission of food.
