Dana Kay Wisthoff DuFauchard stepped into heaven on Saturday, July 2, 2011. She was born Dec. 24, 1966. Survived by her children, Joshua (Trisha) Wisthoff, Chelcie (Robert) Bunderman and Marc (Rochelle) Spaccamonti ; fiance, Richard Spaccamonti; mother, Dianne (Steve) Bonney of Pueblo West; father, Arnold (Debbie) Miller of Denver; sister, Debbie (Brian) Beeman of Ohio; grandsons, Zane Christopher Wisthoff and Colton Spaccamonti; grandmother, Dorothy Trueblood; special friend, Kathy Sandoval; former husband, Michael DuFauchard; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her brother, Eric Miller in 2007 and grandparents. Dana was a dedicated and tireless single mother who worked two jobs and went to school earning her RN degree and worked at CMHIP for 16 plus years. She was a beautiful lady with a big heart full of care and compassion, especially when it came to her patients. She loved riding motorcycles but her greatest joy was spending time with her children and family, and cooking lots of food. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 1 p.m. Thursday, July 7, 2011, at Praise Assembly of God, 2000 Troy Ave., with Pastors Bobby and Darron Wilson officiating. Online condolences, MontgomerySteward.com

  1. Uncle Pat/Aunt Deb, Aunt Rusty/Dr. Bonnie, Debbie, Chelcie, and Josh, know that my heart is breaking for you and that you are all in my thoughts. I wish I could have made the trip home for the service and to be there with family. I will miss Dana and her infectious laugh and smile. Even though we only saw each other once a year or spoke on the phone on occasion, she will be missed. Our family has lost a valuable member. I will keep all of you in my prayers. Love Carrie

  2. I am so sorry for your loss. Dana worked for me in the good ole days at Loaf n Jug. Although that was so long ago I can still rememeber what a hard worker she was. She was such a beautiful person inside & out! She was loved by all that got to know her! May God Bless you all in your time of sorrow.

    This is Fay I went to school with Dana. I was one of her best friends. I am very sad for her lose. My prayers and thoughts are with you and the family. I will always love you all.

  10. Dana and I went to High school together, and have many fond memories of her. I haven’t seen her in quite a while and am very saddened to hear of her passing. My heart goes out to all of the family and friends, and know that my thoughts and prayers are with all of you.
