Service for Damon T. Clark:

Damon T. Clark, Jr., 71, entered the kingdom of heaven on Nov. 22, 2020. He was born in Pueblo to Damon and Margaret Clark. Damon is survived by his wife of 48 years, Sandy Clark; son, Brice (Tracey) Clark; daughter, Kimbre (Jay) Hardy; his precious grandchildren, Briley, Addiley, Jay and Summer; brother, David (Debbie) Clark; and sister-in-law, Karen (Wayne) Doerr. He is preceded in death by his parents; and nephew, Daniel Clark. A lifetime Pueblo resident, he graduated from East High and SCSC with a degree in Art and Mathematics. Damon was a Life Boy Scout, a Pride City Band member and an employee of the Star Journal. For 12 years he worked for Southern Colorado Power and then Public Service of Colorado for 29 years. Damon was a Boy Scout leader, a JA instructor, a board member of the Red Cross and a member of United Way’s allocation committee. Damon loved his family’s Rye cabin, working on cars, playing with his grandchildren and doing adventures with Sandy. Private family service will be livestreamed at 1 p.m. Saturday, on his obituary page. Friends are invited to attend graveside service, approximately 2:30 p.m. at Mountain View Cemetery. Enter west Acero Avenue entrance. Please wear a mask and practice social distancing. In lieu of flowers and food, donations may be made to Pueblo United Way.     I knew Damon since Junior High. One thing that stands out is when I asked him to be my best man in my wedding 50 years ago, he said, “I’ll be honored”. The humbleness and smile I will remember forever.

  10. I was sorry to hear about the loss of Damon. I will miss his friendly smile, engaging conversations and quick wit. He will be missed in the neighborhood. My condolences are with the family and all of his close friends.
