Cynthia Joyce Dear, 56, passed away July 3, 2016. Survived by her sons, Casey (Richelle) Castleberry and Clint (Michelle) Castleberry; grandchildren, Chase, Camden and one on the way; mother, Conny (Rick) Whitehorn; siblings, Coy and Tabitha; father, Newton Wright; brother, Thane (Molly)Wright; nephew and niece, Matt and Errin; second mother, Bobby Malmen; and many close friends. Preceded in death by first husband, Charles Castleberry. Cynthia was born to Conny and Newton Wright on February 20, 1960, in Beaver, Okla. and was part owner of Details Salon. She enjoyed spending time with her two sons, grandboys and the family. Cynthia was a member of Parkhill Baptist Church. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The last non-hair conversation I had with Cindy was in late December. She had heard that I was baptized at church the previous Sunday. She sent me the sweetest text telling me what a great decision I had made and how she wished I would have told her in advance as she would have been there for me. Her faith was strong, her love for family and friends ran deep. I will miss her so much.
I will miss Cindy’s smile and sunny disposition at Details. She never had a cross word to say to or about anybody and was a loyal friend and mother. Sincerest sympathies to her family, especially Casey and Clint. Blessings…..
Cindy was a sweet gal. I was friends with her when she was married to Chuck. Very to sorry to hear of her passing.
We are so sorry to hear of your loss. We have been friends and customers of Cindy for 30 years, and she will be missed. She had been on my mind lately, I was planning a trip to Pueblo from Florida and wanted to visit with her. I hope she is at peace.
