  1. Coye Baker.. a true southern gentleman

Coye was the only man that called me Brother Eddie… He did not mean it in a biblical sense but truly family.

I always got a kick out of having breakfast with Coye. He would put in the cereal, then the milk, after a while he would say I have gotten out of balance here and would add some cereal, then perhaps later some milk.

Coye was a rare man. One of the few I’ve known that loved his mother in law… MS Jo he called her and he always used to say that they were perfect shopping partners. Susanne would take them to the mall and head off shopping… Coye and Ms Jo would find a bench and sit and talk.

Coye was a conservative and capitalist that I would enjoy conversation with. He also studied history and wars. He did love this country.

He was a good husband, father and family man. He was a good business man, fair and always kind. He was also a good christian which tells me that he is in a better place with the lord. God Bless

  2. I worked with Coye for several years at Central Machine and Tool. He was the BEST Sales Manager I ever worked with. His professionalism was unmatched by anyone. All his customers enjoyed him and bragged about him. I really miss him and his companionship. May the family rejoice in his loyalty and love….

  4. Suzanne, I am so sorry to hear of my very good friends passing. I am sure that he is looking down from Heaven on you and your family. My condolences for you.

  5. Dear Coye, I knew Coye from the first time he met Susanne. What a kind, generous man and a wonderful husband for Susanne. He will be truly missed by all those who lives he touched! Rest in peace.

  6. I can see his smile, hear his slight southern drawl, and feel his hand gripping mine in greeting. He always made me feel loved and welcomed, had great stories to tell (I loved the bear story), and shared his faith openly. I look forward to the day when we will meet again. His loss is great and my heart goes out to you, Susanne, Katy and all your family. Roger agrees with me.

  7. What an absolutely delightful man Coye was! Such an honor to have known this kind and caring gentleman.
