Cordelia 'Cordy' Ann Martinez, 63, passed away Jan. 27, 2016. She was preceded in death by her loving father, Ben Martinez. Survived by her loving mother, Emma Martinez; daughter, Jennifer (Justin) Rael; granddaughters, Brooklynn, Davee and Emma; siblings, Nancy (John) Vigil, Jeanette Martinez, Steve Martinez, Dave (Jackie) Martinez, Rick (Sue) Martinez; loving nephews and nieces; extended family and friends. Cordy enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, she always loved her vacations to Gunnison, and her trips to Cripple Creek with her best friends. Cordy was proud of her grandchildren's dancing and sports events, and through her lifetime cherished being a second mother to her loving nephews and nieces. Her infectious smile and laugh will live in our hearts forever. We love you Cordy. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, 2016, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel.   1. Janet. To all the family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I just now found out at work when I saw it in the paper or would’ve gone to the service. I can’t imagine what your going thru losing another family member so close together but I want each and everyone of you to know you are in my thoughts and prayers. I always thought a lot of Cordy and did enjoy visiting her. I will be thinking about you guys. Hugs to you guys.

  2. Auntie you were such a wonderful aunt who will truly be missed. You were always there and just a phone call away when I lived out of state. Our chats always left me feeling better but also missing you more. It was an honor for me to have you as my aunt.
