Cora Alice Tunnell Lacy passed away of natural causes on November 23, 2020 in Pueblo, Colorado.
She was born is Quitique, Texas to Judson and Mary Tunnell on October 9, 1918. On October 15, 1942 I.J. Lacy and Cora Tunnell were married in Hollis, Oklahoma.
She is preceded in death by her husband, I.J Lacy. Her parents, Judson and Mary Tunnell; six siblings; daughter, Margaret Hughes; son, Jimmy Lacy; and grandson, Jared Powellson.
She leaves behind sons, Doyle Lacy and wife Nancy of Lubbock, Texas; J.W. Lacy and wife Ruby Jo of Slaton, Texas; Jerry Lacy and wife Sherry of Port Isabel, Texas; daughters, Bobby Llewelyn and husband Bailey of West Virginia; and Jana Lacy and husband Robert of Pueblo, Colorado. She also leaves behind 12 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
Graveside memorial will be held in the spring in Turkey, Texas.
I know Cora’s eyes are sparkling and her welcoming smile is greeting everyone in Heaven. A truly Great Lady 💖 who will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
