Connie E. Vigil, 51, passed away August 29,2003. Survived by her husband, Michael R.; children, Michelle Vigil (Mike Ulibarri) and Brandon Vigil (Chanae Bobian); grandchildren, Brandon Jeremy Vigil-Archuleta, his mother, Jamie Archuleta-Torres and Brandis Jade Vigil; sister, Leona (Edward) Sandoval; brothers, Richard (Virginia) Romero, Cye Romero, and Ruben (Rita)Romero;mother-in-law, Marie Vigil, all of Pueblo; numerous nieces, nephews and special friends. Preceded in death by her parents, Cye and Della Romero; sister, Agnes 'Dolly' Martinez; father-in-law, Jose Reuben Vigil; and special companion, 'Rita Rae.' Connie was born on June 11, 1952, in Pueblo. She enjoyed family functions, and making people laugh, but most of all spending time with her grandchildren. At her request, there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. The Recitation of the Rosary will be held 7 p.m. Tuesday, September 2, 2003, and the Memorial Mass will be held 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 3, 2003, with the Reverend Fr. Ron Roche as celebrant. Both services will be held at Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand. Those who desire may make memorials to the Kidney Foundation or Diabetes Association through the funeral home. Family and friends will be received at 2112 W. 13th Street.

  1. I’m so sorry about your recent loss. I wanted to attend services but was unable to do so because of my working hours. Know that I thought about Connie off & on throughout the years. I only regret that I didn’t take the time to see & visit with her when I was able to do so. I pray for entire family & hope the wonderful memories you have of her will give you comfort.   4. I’ll always remember Connie, she was a wonderful lady. Evertime I saw her in the store or a restruant she has always greeted me with a smile and a warm hug. Connie’s is gone as a body, but her soul and spirit will remain here with all of you. She will be your guardian angel. Our prayers and thoughts are with you. God Bless You All!
