Clara Regina Graham, 89, was born on Aug. 12, 1926, and passed away May 7, 2016. Preceded in death by mother, Anna Rohr; father, Domineck Weigel; siblings, Andy Weigel, Joe Weigel, Matt Weigel, Pete Weigel, Lawrence Weigel, Alex Weigel, Jerome Weigel, John Weigel, Mollie Miller, Susie Miller; her two husbands, Sam Meisner and L. Earl Graham; children, Sam Meisner, John Meisner, Mike Meisner, and Nancy Addington. Survived by her brother, Jake Weigel; sisters, Barbara Gutierrez and Mary Gutierrez; children, Clara Downer(Jim), Jim Meisner(Jolene), Mary Ann Waterman (Ken), Gerald Meisner, Robert Meisner(Sarah), Diane Stevens and Tim Graham (Shelia); 27 grandchildren; 43 great-grandchildren; and her dearest friends, Ester Pena and Carrie. Clara's greatest accomplishment was that all eleven of her children graduated from high school. She was a devout Roman Catholic and believed that praying the rosary was a source for personal relief and that God was listening to her prayers. Clara volunteered for her church in any way possible. She spent a number of years working in home hospice, school food service and volunteered mending services for the Progressive Care Center in Cañon City. Clara was an avid Colorado Rockies fan.
Memorial service, 3 p.m. Saturday, June 25, 2016, at Prospectors R.V. Resort, 43595 US Hwy 50 West, Canon City, Colo. The location is on the north side, just past the entrance to the Royal Gorge Bridge. The services will be an outdoor event under cover.Clara's final resting place will be in Tulsa, Okla.
