Clara B. Glenn, 97, passed away April 16, 2012. Survived by her children, Robert (Helen) Smotherman of Rocky Ford and Philip (Mary Catherine) Smotherman of Oklahoma City, Okla.; stepdaughter, Barbara (Martin) Smith of Wichita, Kan.; eight grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Clara was born to Ike and Gertrude Williams on Aug. 2, 1914, in Glade, Kan. She married Kurt Smotherman during the Depression; he passed away in 1946. In 1947, she married Cliff Glenn who also preceded her in death. Clara retired from Johnson Electric as their bookkeeper. Member of First Methodist Church and Order of Eastern Star. Service, 10 a.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012, First Methodist Church, 11th & Court, with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating. Interment will follow at 2 p.m. at Valley View Cemetery in Ordway. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to Sangre de Cristo Hospice through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, CO 81003.
