Christine Louise Fratterelli, 92, lifetime Pueblo resident, passed away Nov. 10, 2014. Mrs. Fratterelli was born in Pueblo, Colo., Sept. 1, 1922, and graduated from Centennial High School - Class of 1940. Christine was employed in the Radio-Television Industry for 25 years. Retired in 1982 as secretary, Traffic Division, Burlington Northern Railroad. Former member of National Secretary's Association (Kachina Chapter), Pueblo Credit Women's Breakfast Club and Brotherhood of Railroad Clerks. Member of St. Therese Society, lifelong member of Cathedral of the Sacred Heart, where she served as former Member of the Parish Council (4 years), Administration Committee (7 years), Hospitality Chairperson (4½ years), Office Volunteer Worker (5 years), Sunday Coffee Program Chairperson (14 years ). On the occasion of the 50th Anniversary of the Catholic Diocese of Pueblo, Bishop Arthur N. Tafoya presented the Jubilee Award to Christine and her husband, Dominick R. Fratterelli for their involvement in service for the church. Also, on Nov. 30, 2008, Christine was presented The Bishop Tafoya Service Award. Preceded in death by her parents, Vera (Martino) and Philip Fabrizio and her husband of 60 years, Dominick R. Fratterelli. Survivors include first cousins, Albert Waibel, Oceanside, Calif. and Susanlee Martino, Ft. Mohave, Ariz.; Godchildren, Lisa Christine Waibel, Oceanside, Calif. and Kristina Proctor, Ph.D., Pueblo; nieces, Marilynn Gettel, Charlene Hemphill, Joanne Proctor and Jodean Spicola; and nephews, Charles Desiato, David Fraterelli, Dr. Lewis Fraterelli, Steven Fraterelli, and Thomas J. Stephens. Viewing, 2 to 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 21, 2014, at the funeral home with family receiving friends from 4 to 6 p.m. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 22, 2014, at Cathedral of Sacred Heart, 11th and Grand.
