Cheryl Lynn Getts, our angel on earth is now soaring with the angels in heaven. Cheryl was born in Pueblo, Colo. on Feb. 14, 1951, and passed away Mar. 5, 2017. Survived by her father, William M. Getts; sisters, Gayle Getts-Howe and Maggie Thomas. Preceded in death by her mother, Lois J. Getts; and brother-in-law, John J. Howe, M.D. She loved to sing. Our eternal gratitude to Cheryl's angels, Kathy Rodriguez, Rania Sandoval, Melanie Marvin, Marjorie Day, Athena Kahalepuna, Rosio Badillo and Marie Fabjancic. Viewing, 4 to 6 p.m. Friday and service, 2 p.m. Saturday Mar. 11, 2017, both in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Private interment, Imperial Memorial Gardens. Bill and Gayle, May God’s comforting arms be around you to help you during this time of grief. Cheryl was always so pleasant when we would see you. I praise you for your dedication and loving care you gave her. She most likely will be the first angel to meet you in Heaven. God Bless.
