Charles W. 'Chick' Collins, 75, passed away July 30, 2008. Survived by his wife of 44½ years, Joyce Collins; children, Jeff Collins of Pueblo, Shelly K. (Wes) Niegel of Fairbanks, Alaska, Shirley Collins Sattler of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla. and Charles Walter (Stacy) Collins Gilmore of Utah; father-in-law, Santo Spinuzzi of Pueblo; brother-in-law, Jim Marshall of Pueblo; 14 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; 14 nieces and nephews; and numerous friends. Chick was born to Wesley Oliver and Rose Collins on Feb. 26, 1933, in Boone, Colo. He retired from CF&I as an electronic data processor, in April 1983, after 32 years of service. He was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing and golfing. He was a good bowler and an avid Denver Broncos fan! There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 4, 2008, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pastor Ken Black officiating. The family requests the omission of flowers.
