Charles 'Jim' Morgan, 73, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away August 17, 2007. Survived by his wife, Bama Morgan of the family home; mother, Marjorie Morgan; daughters, Donna Morgan and Cristy (Ken) Gierhart; son, Randy Morgan; grandchildren, Travis Morgan, Taylor, Brittany and Brooke Gierhart; brothers, Alfred 'Bud' (Tommie) Morgan, of Queensland Australia, Gary (Mary Ellen) Morgan of Beulah, George Morgan of Pueblo; sister, Joanne (Chris) O'Higgins of Carson City, NV; and brother-in-law, Jim (Carol) Clark. Also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Charles Morgan; daughter-in-law, Wendy Morgan; and parents-in-law, Marvin and Alice Clark. Jim was born on November 21, 1933, in Pueblo. He was employed by the Department of Defense at Pueblo Ordnance Depot and Redstone Arsenal in Huntsville, Alabama for 22 years. The last 25 years he had his own construction company. Jim's hobbies included horses, woodworking and metal sculpture. He traveled extensively and was his grandchildren's #1 sports fan. Jim was a member of the Fellowship of the Rockies. A special thanks to Dr. Ted Puls, Dr. Marlow Sloan and all of Jim's caretakers at Parkview Hospital and the Sangre de Cristo Hospice House. At his request there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 11 a.m. Wednesday, August 22, 2007, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Dale Schmidt officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, memorials may be made to Therapeutic Riding & Educational Center (TREC), through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N.
