Charles D. Wayt, 70, passed away Oct. 7, 2021. Survived by wife, Donna Wayt; daughters, Melissa and Kristina; grandchildren, Chelsea, Daniel, Charlie, Cierra-Lyn and Brayden-Lee; great-grandson, Charles; and lots of dogs and cats. Preceded in death by parents, Irene and Denny Wayt; and sister, Dolores. Charles was born on Sept. 23, 1951, in Pasadena, Calif. and worked as an insurance agent. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and bird watching. Chuck loved nature and animals and he always put his family first. He was a member of the American Legion Riders and a proud Democrat. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Burial, 11 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 21, 2021, at Pikes Peak National Cemetery in Colorado Springs, followed by celebration of life, 1 p.m. at the American Legion, 701 W. 9th Street, in Pueblo.   7. Dear Donna and family, our neighbors of many years! I will always remember visiting with chuck on the front porch with coffee, and many sea stories from the Tonkin gulf to Subic bay PI. Loved having you for neighbors, friends and thank him for all he did for our country.

  11. My deepest condolences to Donna and the family Chuck was a wonderful friend his family took me in one summer and I will be forever indebted to Chuck. We reacquainted prior to our 50th class reunions and I got to meet his lovely wife Donna. You would be sadly missed my friend!!!!😪😪😪

    I have great memories working with Chuck as he served with me on our State American Legion Riders board. Chuck had been around the ALR for a long time and was always great at giving me the history about the ALR the programs based on what worked and didn’t. He also loved his Mexican coffee and told me that it was never too early for tequila. Cheers amigo and God speed.

  14. I have so many great memories of Chuck. As a little girl, Chuck just wasn’t our neighbor he was like a 2nd to me. He always treated me like one of his own. My thoughts and prayers are with you all! He will definitely be missed.
