Charles A. Cameron, 91, passed away December 12, 2000. Survived by his wife, Bessie Cameron of the family home; son, James (Cori) Cameron of Pueblo West; grandchildren, Kathy (Bruce) Jones of Arvada, Suzanne Cameron of Colorado Springs and Brent Cameron of Denver; the grandchildren's mother, Jean Thomas; and great-grandchildren, Chelsea, Ana, Cameron and Shannon. Born to Arthur and Martha (née Oglevis) Cameron on September 17, 1909, in Audubon, Iowa. Charles served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII, with combat in the Pacific Theater and in Battle of Guadal Canal. He retired from Sears after many years as a carpet salesman. Member of First Presbyterian Church. At his request, there will be no viewing. Private interment will be held prior to service. Memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Saturday, December 16, 2000, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Reverend Deborah Kehle Como officiating.
