Charla Marie Peralta

Charla Marie Peralta, 17, went to be with the Lord on December 23, 2006, after a lifetime battle with cancer. Preceded in death by grampo, Ricardo Peralta, Uncle Tony and Charles Smith. Survived by her mom, Catherine Peralta Gettler; grandma, Irene Peralta, siblings, David (Gina) , Renee (James), Timothy (Maria), Cathy Lee, Letisha, John and Guy; aunts, Betty Smith, Frances (Gerald) Garcia, MaryAnn (Larry) DeHerrera; uncle, Johnny Peralta; godmothers, Alice Palumbo and Nadine Peralta; nephew, Andrew; nieces, Mersadie and Analena; and numerous relatives and friends. Recitation of the Rosary, 7 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 27, 2006, and funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 28, 2006. Services at St. Frances Xavier Parish, 611 Logan. Interment, 11 a.m Friday, Dec. 29, 2006, at Farista Cemetery.
