  1. So sorry to hear of this sad news. Sue was such a wonderful lady. I knew her since I was a little girl, when she began cutting my mom’s hair at Broadway Beauty shop. Over the years my mom and she became great friends, she got to know my girls when they would go with my mom to get her hair done, she gave my oldest daughter, Kelli, her first haircut. She went on many trips with my mom and dad as my mom owned a travel agency, in later years she came to my mom and dads house to cut their hair. I loved being there to visit when she came. I feel blessed to have known her and call her a friend. May God bless her family and give them peace at this difficult time. I will keep her close in my heart always.

  2. I remember Sue from our childhood being the most fun of all of my cousins. She would make up stories for us and sometimes they were scary, but they were always funny. After many years of living separate lives, we were again friends, and I so enjoyed seeing her when she visited us in Kentucky and Nashville. My sisters and I visited her in Pueblo in 2006, and we had so much fun. It was great to see how much she enjoyed her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fortunately, we had one last chance to spend time with her on our “cousin” trip to Branson. I had no idea that we would not see her again.
I will always love her and appreciate her for her wonderful personality.

  3. Sue was an amazing person. She knew how to love unconditionally and accepted one for who they are. She was always an inspiration to me.
I know the family will miss her greatly.
Prayers, love and hugs for all as you adjust to life with hearts full of memories. Cherish them always.

  4. I’m so sorry for your loss. I wish I had wonderful words to take away your pain. Know that she lives on through your memories and in your hearts.

  5. A beautiful service for a beautiful and wonderful lady who will be missed. Thank you Pastor Rick for the beautiful sending you gave her. My sincere condolences and sympathy to Sue’s family. She will be missed by many and may God be with you.
    Love from Midge

  10. Deepest sympathy to Mike Hayden and your family. We only had a few short years together but you sure made us welcome to Regency Blvd. Condo’s. We had a wonderful but short friendship. Will always remember you and Annie. You are going to be missed by us and many others. You are no longer in pain and with ones you have loved and touched over time. Rest my friend and enjoy your new adventure. God bless!!

  11. Oh She so sad ,we didn’t realize that would be our last conversation. You know how I loved you. I’ll miss our talks every day. Enjoyed hearing about your cousins,as the Haydens were related to the Pueblo Haydens. Oh how I’ll miss you. No one more fun and loving. Bye dear friend!!!!

  12. Sue was the best “mother-in-law” a woman could ever have been blessed with. From my childhood to becoming her daughter in-law and a mother myself, she was my guiding light, confidant, and trusted friend. She loved her son and our children equally and unconditionally. They were truly her “little darlings” and she was their “grand ma-ma”. She taught us love, respect, kindness, strength, worthiness, and faith, straight from her beautiful soul. I have no doubt that on July 26th, Jesus welcomed her into the kingdom he has been preparing for us with a “well done, good and faithful servant”. We shall soon meet again….”For he is our God, and we are the people of his pasture, the sheep under his care. Today if you will hear his voice,” Psalm95:7

  13. Sue was the sweetest happiest person I knew and such a wonderful cousin! She was always thinking of her cousins in Kentucky! She was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, wife, and cousin. Sue will be very missed and no one can take her place! I love you and tell all of the family that I will them again and you too Sue! R.I.P. sweet angel!

  14. Such a beautiful and loving cousin. You will be missed by many. See you on the other side. RIP Prayers for all the family and friends. Love from your cousins: Barbara (Hamblin); Patty (Shackelford) and family; and Bobby Toon and family.
