Please know that our deepest sympathies are with you. Carol was truly a loving and beautiful person. Though she moved from Kauai, we still considered her as our neighbor in Waimea. May God’s loving arms embrace you all and give you peace.

  2. Aloha to a wonderful childhood friend and neighbor. Carol and I grew up together in Waimea, Kauai, HI. She was always so sweet and friendly. My sympathy to all the family and to Harris. God Bless Lanis Wilson

  3. Carol,i will miss you so much, just going to Pueblo to visit Rachel,i always made sure i saw you and Joanna. You and Joanna were the only ones that stood by me, and accepted me, with all my faults and never gave up on me, i will never forget you, over 33 yrs , best friends forever, my girls loved you. You always kept us in your prayers, and every time i went to see you, you loved to hear the stories of Mexico,i know that you are in the arms of our precious savior, until we see each other again , love you,

  4. This is such a sad time. She was such a good friend to me…she could always make me laugh and feel better about anything. My family enjoyed being around her and welcomed her in. Even though we were miles apart…I knew I could always pick up the phone and we could talk about anything. She’s the only friend I called..she will be sadly missed.

  5. Carol, such a great loss for the family. Good times at so many family functions. I am so heartfelt with your passing. We have such good memories of you. My family were just sharing a few stories together, “Carol used to read to me when I was small”; “We stood with them when we were in Pueblo”; “They are at all of our family gatherings” Carol you will be missed dearly. I love you. I know you are in a beautiful place. Arms wide open for you! Rest in peace. Rich, with all our love to you and the family.
    Love Margo

  6. To the family of the Late Carol Nishkawa: My dearest Carol, my friend whom I’ve known all of my 59 yrs having been raised in Waimea and having played with Carol during our childhood days. Carol was born 2 days after me (10/8/51) and we shared alot of memorable days playing at the Waimea River Mouth. I’m glad that I was able to share some email communications with Carol over the last couple years. May she rest in peace. My deepest sympathy goes out to her loving husband who cared for her dearly all these years. Much Mahalos and Aloha, Laurie Yamase Sloan
