Carol Peterson, 60, passed away at her home on Nov. 5, 2015. Survived by her husband, Don Peterson of Pueblo, Colorado; daughter, Shonda Kiniry and her husband Russ of Pueblo, Colorado; son, Michael Key of Denver, Colorado; grandsons, Nicoh Key of Virginia Beach, Virginia, Keanen Key of Denver, Colorado and great-granddaughter, Riley Key of Virginia Beach, Virgini; sisters, Ruth MacKinnon of Vilonia, Arkansas; Lois Hicks of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother, Phil McMullen and his wife Judy of Sparkman, Arkansas; plus numerous nieces, nephews and cousins, and her much loved dog, Jasmine. She was born to Alfred and Bernice McMullen on July 30, 1955, in Camden, Arkansas. As a loving wife and mother, Carol was a good-hearted woman that will be greatly missed. She was a lifelong animal lover that enjoyed the outdoors, traveling, family and laughter. You will always be loved. At her request, there will be no viewing, Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 10, 2015, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with Pat Koonce officiating. We hope you guys find strength and peace. I have always admired her sense of wonder, loving ways and grounded morals. We’ll miss her laugh and her love.
