Carla Jean Wendler

Carla Jean Wendler, 75, passed away Nov. 21, 2021. Survived by son, Joseph (Donna) Phillips; daughter, Michelle (John) Baier; brother, Bill (Dawn) Pellegrino; brother-in-law, Gary Stevens; grandchildren, Venessa Pacheco, Lillie Baier and Liam Baier; and many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Michael (Robin) Pellegrino; and twin sister, Nina Stevens. Carla was born to Joseph and Cathryn Pellegrino in Beloit, Wis. A veteran in the nursing field, Carla was a Registered Nurse for 44 years, with most of her career at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Del Norte, Colo., as an ER Nurse at J.C. Lincoln Hospital in Phoenix, Ariz. and she retired from her nursing career at Southern Colorado Clinic Urgent Care in Pueblo, Colo. Her hobbies included quilting, bunco, bingo, bowling and spending time with family and friends. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. No services are scheduled.
