Buck Allen, 87, passed away Sept. 7, 2021. Survived by wife of 65 years, Joann Allen; children, Denise (Paul) Hughes of California and Tim Allen of Arizona; four grandchildren, Tyler, Todd, Tanner and Travis Allen; cousins and special caregivers, Maureen Morrow and Ron Guerrero; and special niece and nephew, Christine and Don Doyle of Michigan. Buck was born to Arthur and Grace Allen on Jan. 22, 1934, in Chicago, Ill. and served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. After the military he worked as a welder for 45 years in California and retired to Colorado. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Private family services, Pikes Peak National Cemetery.     He was merciful when I messed up their garage door opener.
