It is with great sadness that we share the news of the unexpected passing of our dear friend and beloved brother, Bryson Thomas Smith, in the early morning hours of Tuesday, March 14, 2023. Bryson was born Oct. 16, 1996, in Pueblo, Colo. Bryson was a remarkable human being whose life touched the hearts of countless people in our community. He will be remembered for his kindness, generosity, and unwavering commitment to helping those in need.
Bryson was a true friend to everyone he met. He had an infectious smile and a warm personality that drew people to him. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it, no matter how big or small the task was. His kindness and generosity knew no bounds, and he would go out of his way to make sure that everyone around him felt loved and appreciated.
Bryson was also deeply committed to making a positive impact in his community. He was a member and involved with many activities at the Steel City Fraternal Eagles #3367, where everyone grew to love this young man. His passion for helping others was contagious, and he inspired many of us to get involved in causes that were close to our hearts.
Beyond his charitable work with the Steel City Eagles, Bryson had a deep love for the outdoors, spending time with his family and friends, his dogs Cooper and Zoey, and working for the BNSF railroad. Bryson loved to watch sports with his friends and family, and he was always up for a friendly debate about which team was better.
While we are devastated by his passing, we take comfort in knowing that Bryson’s legacy will live on through the countless lives he touched.
Bryson is survived by his father, Robert Smith; mother, Crystal Sisneros; grandmothers, Debbie Maxwell and Priscilla (Marv) Peterson; brother, Austin Smith; sister, Kamryn Smith; multiple aunts, uncles, cousins, and dogs, Cooper and Zoey.
Bryson is preceded in death by his grandfathers, Bob Smith and Larry Maxwell; and great-grandparents, Frank and Carol Dace, Manuel, and Nancy Guerrero,
Bryson spent his last days with his lovely girlfriend, Jessica Anzaldo, and her daughters, Kendra and Dacia, Janesa, and Bella. Bryson loved Jessica more than words could describe. Bryson truly found happiness and Jessica was one of the main reasons Bryson had a huge smile on his face day in and day out. Bryson’s love for his lovely girlfriend, Jessica, will last forever and it will not be forgotten. Jessica will never forget the love her big “Teddy Bear” had for her.
We will always remember Bryson for his infectious smile, his kind heart, his laugh, and his unwavering commitment to making the world a better place. May he rest in peace, and may his memory be a blessing to us all.

  1. I literally just found out about Brysin passing away today. I’m sorry about your loss! He was a really great guy and super nice every time he came into my shop to get a haircut. When I didnt get texts from him for another appointment, I was sitting here texting him wondering how he was doing or asking if I did something wrong on his last cut. I didnt realize him passing away was the reason for not getting a response. My heart cries and my condolences goes out to his family.
