Bruce (Gus) Richard McMullen, 76, passed away unexpectedly on December 3, 2022. He is survived by his wife, Sharon; brother, Wade (Lana); children, Sean (Janice), Jerry (Denise), Teryn, Brandi (Steve) and Mark. He had many grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. A reception to celebrate Bruce’s life will be held on Saturday, Jan. 21, from 2 to 4 p.m. at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church Hall, 1145 S. Aspen Rd. in Blende. Bruce was an avid Colorado sports fan so Broncos, Rockies, Avalanche or Nuggets attire is encouraged. Light refreshments will be served.

My deepest condolences. I pray it’s of comfort to know that Bruce is in Heaven and you will be together again when the time is right, and you will never have to say goodbye again. There is no pain, no sorrow, no suffering and no evil there. You blessed him in a beautiful way, and he passed knowing true love. He passed a very good man.
