Billy “Bill” Wayne Jones, 93, passed away April 10, 2021. Survived by his loving wife of 68 years, Geri (married on December 28th, 1952, at Union Holiness Church in Henderson, Ky); daughter, Trina (John) Cuzzetto; son, Richard (Elizabeth) Jones; grandchildren, Tamra (Brian) Axworthy, Billy J. Jones, John R. Cuzzetto and Alexander J.D. Jones; 22 great-grandchildren; two sisters-in-law; and other family includes, Shannon (Jim) Gartman, Toni (Kenny) Mabey and Andrea (Jeff) Tomblin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Walter and Ollie Jones; five brothers; three sisters; four brothers-in-law; five sisters-in-law; and one great-granddaughter. Bill was born on January 17, 1928, in Arbyrd, Mo., served in the US Navy, was an auto mechanic, owned and operated Bill’s 66 Hilltop Service Station and B. W. Jones Inc. Masonry Construction and was ordained as a minister March of 1984. He enjoyed hunting, serving God, mentoring, meals with friends, traveling and photography. Through the years he served in various capacities in the church: hosting baptismal services, Sunday School teacher, worship leader, Elder and Deacon and building churches. Visitation, 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Friday, April 23, 2021, at Family Worship Center, 3800 Parker Blvd. Entombment, Mountain View Cemetery Chapel Mausoleum. Livestreaming, FWC.Life/Livestream.
