Billie B. Horton

Billie B. Horton, 71, passed away Feb. 21, 2006, in Pueblo, Colorado. Survived by his children, Sandra Lynn (Jack) Crook of Boone, Rebecca Ann (Mark) Dome of Pueblo and Thomas (Erlinda) Horton of Boone; brother, Jack Horton of Lansing, Mich.; grandchildren, Stephanie and James (Deana) Crook, Paden and Devan Dome, Brian, Zackary, Jessica and Christopher Horton; and great-grandchild, James Alan Crook. Preceded in death by his wife, Nancy P. Horton on July 23, 2005; son, Michael D. Horton, on Dec. 20, 2000; and granddaughter, Tracy Lynn Alsteen. Billie was born to Claude and Eunice Horton on July 7, 1934, in Boone, Colo. In 1989, he retired from Colorado State Hospital as a registered nurse after 32 years of service. Billie enjoyed hunting and fishing and was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Viewing from 3 to 6 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Funeral service, 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2006, at Liberty Baptist Church, 2207 W. 29th, with the Rev. Steven Thacker officiating. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.
