Betty Sue Dow

Betty Sue Power Dow, 85, loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was called home to her final resting place by her Lord and savior on Nov. 29, 2012, with her family by her side. She fought a dignified and courageous battle with cancer. Sue was preceded in death by her father, William 'Art' Power; mother, Bessie Susan Pope Power; little brother, Billy; special auntie, Eunice Pope; and companion, Ernie Garcia. Survived by children, Betty (Dave) Salameno, Bill (Mary) Dow; grandchildren, Lori (Rex) Greenhood, Tami (Dennis) Maltbie, Gina (Kevin) Parnell, Meri (Donnie) Greenhood, Trudi (Brian) Lawson, Billy (Shannon) Dow; great-grandchildren, J.T. (Alyssa), Josh (Tene'), Breann and Jonathon Greenhood, Katelyn and McKenna Parnell, Hana, Mason and Kayla Maltbie, Garrett, Olivia, Samuel and Zachary Lawson, Rance Dow, Keaton and Riley Anderson and Triston Cox. There will be no viewing. Service, 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, Montgomery & Steward Chapel. Interment, Mountain View Cemetery.
