Betty L. Whittemore, 78, passed away December 12, 2000. Survived by her children, Joyce (Harold) Trujillo, Janet (Al) Fetty and Gary Whittemore, all of Pueblo; grandchildren, Michael Vigil, Lori Davis, Gary Whittemore Jr., Brad Fetty
and Debbi Conley; five great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her father, Henry Kurtz; mother, Bessie Talbot; brother, Robert Kurtz; and grandson, Mark Vigil. Born July 17, 1922, in Pueblo, Betty was very
ambitious and worked many years as a meat processor for Triplex Packing Company.
She will lie in state today from noon until 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Funeral service
will be held 1 p.m. Friday, December 15, 2000, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel, with Reverend Lynel Killion officiating. Interment will follow at Imperial Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends and relatives at a reception
immediately following the interment at the Montgomery & Steward Reception Room. In lieu of food and flowers, memorials may be made to American Cancer Society through the funeral home.

It’s almost been nine years now so many things have changed. So many things that I wish could be shared with you. You’re thought of often and missed so much. I know how much you loved the Christmas Season and I just want to say “Merry Christmas” Gram.
