Betty Jean Viola, 78, passed away Nov. 22, 2014, at Joni Fair Hospice House, in Pueblo, surrounded by family. She was born May 16, 1936, in Las Animas County, Colo. to William and Margaret Coccimiglio. Preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joe Viola; daughter, Kim Zamora; and sister, Joann Schultz. Survived by son, Bill (Patty) Viola; daughters, Nancy (John) Griffiths, Gina (Everett) Wormington; grandchildren, Crystal (Alejandro) Para, Jamie Viola, Bridgette and Chandler Lauricella, Ryan (Abbey) Wormington and Celeste Wormington; great-grandchild, Alexia Parra. Betty owned and operated Granny's Attic with her husband Joe for ten years. She loved to buy and sell jewelry. She also worked for Colorado Blue Sky. Betty will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Special thanks to all the staff at Joni Fair Hospice House for all of their wonderful care and compassion. Her family would also like to thank the nurses on 5th Tower at Parkview Medical Center for their wonderful care. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. My condolences go out to Bettys family she was such a great person. I have been doing her and Tonys hair for about 2 years now and loved them both so much! She was such a caring loving person she will be missed dearly.
