Betty Jane Edmunds-Evans, age 87, passed away in Kansas City, Mo. on January 1, 2014. Betty was born in Atlanta, Ga. on January 7, 1926. She is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Arthur Edmunds in 2000. She is survived by her second husband of 11 years, Emery Evans and her four children, Bill, Ed, Beth and Neva, as well as six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Betty was a resident of Pueblo for 30 years, a choir director at Calvary Baptist Church and host of 'Betty's Byline' a radio show on Christian radio KFEL for 16 years. Betty loved God with her whole heart and served Him faithfully. Viewing, 3 p.m. followed by the service at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, January 8, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Home Chapel.
