Betty J. Cooper, 71, passed away January 6, 2009. Survived by her loving husband, Douglas E. Cooper; children, Dallas Kip (Karolyn) Cooper, and Kym (Gary) Radosta; grandchildren, Emily Jo Cooper, Kara Leigh (Chris) DeJean, Blair Douglas Cooper, and Austyn G. Radosta; sisters, Cathryn (Clarence) Gill of Westcliffe, Georgia Hughes of Pueblo and Marjorie (Bill) Riggins of La Veta; brothers, Charles (Barbara) Wolf of Nevada and Paul (Debbie) Wolf Jr., of New Mexico; sisters-in-law, Marlene (Claude) Carpenter of Ft. Collins and Charlotte (Joe) Williams of Littleton; numerous nieces and nephews. Betty is preceded in death by her sister, Charlotte Rogers; and brother-in-law, Jim Hughes. She was born in Walsenburg, Colorado on August 14, 1937, to Paul and Josephine Wolf, and was raised in Gardner, Colorado on the family ranch. Betty loved her children and grandchildren, and she enjoyed supporting them in their sporting events. She was a 4-H mother and was involved in the 4-H horse club. At her request there will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 2 p.m. Friday, January 9, 2009, in the Montgomery & Steward chapel with the Rev. Dr. Rick Calhoun officiating. In lieu of flowers and food, memorials may be made to LaJunta Boy's Ranch, through Montgomery & Steward Funeral Directors, 1317 N. Main St., Pueblo, Colo. 81003.
