Betty G. Gaydos, 77, died from complications of vascular dementia on Aug. 2, 2012. Survived by her children, Debra (Wally) Blevins of North Jackson, Ohio, Timothy (Cindy) Byers of Port Huron, Mich., Terrance (Catherine) Byers of Westcliffe and Kathleen Byers of Pueblo West; siblings, Russell Deer of Sun City, Ariz. and Ann Sheridan of Butler, Pa.; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Gaydos; former husband, Thomas Byers; son, Thomas Byers; and sister, Ida Forsyth. Betty was born to Samuel and Elizabeth Deer on July 5, 1935, in Pittsburgh, Pa. Member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church in Pueblo West and former member of Daughters of Isabella. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Service, 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012, in the Montgomery & Steward Chapel with the Rev. Father J. William Huber officiating.
