Bette Jo (Marshall) Mantelli, 86, passed away January 20, 2022. Preceded in death by her husband, Charles Mantelli, Jr.; daughter, Mary Ann Mantelli Wellesley; grandson, Bret C.C. Wellesley; parents, John Walker, and Irma Virginia (neé Bruno) Marshall; special God daughter and niece, Fawn Ward and brothers Frank H. (Mildred) and John Marshall, and Sister Marion Pendleton. Survived by her children, Dena Mantelli of Pueblo, John (Connie) Mantelli of Pueblo, James (Joy) Mantelli of Highlands Ranch, Devona (Kevin) Walter of Pueblo and Gary (Leah) Mantelli of Castlerock, Grandchildren, Amber, Vanessa. Melissa, Devona, Alysha, Miranda, Nic, Greg, Megan, Tony, Ryan, Kenneth, Divina, Eric, Cameron, Josef, and Noah
Bette also was blessed with great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren in her life, and we know moving forward she will be blessing us from heaven with more to come.
Bette was born Feb. 5, 1935, in Trinidad, graduated from Trinidad High School in 1953 and married Charles on June 26, 1956, at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Trinidad. In 1980, Bette retired as a bakery manager from King Soopers after four years of service. She was known for her baking and Italian dishes. She loved cooking for large family dinners and carrying on the Italian traditions. Bette loved to joke and tease and have it reciprocated. She loved people; she was a true people-person. Bette was also very devoted to the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Blessed Mother Mary. Visitation and Rosary will be held on Wednesday, January 26th, at 6pm in the Montgomery & Stewart Funeral Chapel. Funeral service, 11 a.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022, in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Private entombment.   1. Im so sorry for your loss. I will miss Bette very much ,as I was one of the nurses who took care of her. My heart is broken ,I will miss the talks we had ,and the hugs 💔😪 she was beautiful inside and out ,and I loved her dearly . RIP my beautiful angel 💖
