Beatrice Ann Madrid, 88, passed away Sept. 28, 2011. Survived by her daughters, Teresa Villanueva, Betty (Fred) Gallegos and Marva (George) Morrone; son, Amadeo (Amy) Madrid; ten grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren; sisters, Nancy (Larry) Ortivez of Pueblo and Flora (Bob) Rogers of Colorado Springs; and brother, Paul (Judy) Abeyta of Las Vegas, Nev. Preceded in death by her husband, Amadeo Madrid, who passed away Oct. 28, 1989; parents, Pedro and Juanita Abeyta; grandson, Kenny Madrid; great-grandson, Matthew Madrid and several infant great-grandbabies; brothers, Eloy (infant brother), Ted, Eloy, George and Pete Abeyta; sisters, Lillian Pacheco and Rafilita Castillo. Also preceded in death by her loving son-in-law, Toby Villanueva. Beatrice was born Nov. 28, 1922, in Hoehne, Colo. In her early years she worked many places including Boston Potato Chips and McClelland Day Care. She enjoyed sewing, crafting, cooking and baking, especially around the holidays. She also enjoyed working in her yard and shopping sprees. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved children, grandchildren, family and friends. 'Grandma Bea' will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Special thanks to her Dr. Birks, St. Mary Corwin Hospital staff who attended Beatrice, her home health care nurse, Angela, and her other home health care nurses. Viewing from 4 to 6 p.m. Sunday in the Montgomery & Steward Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass, 10 a.m. Monday, Oct. 3, 2011, at St. Joseph Church, 1145 S. Aspen Rd., with the Rev.
