Barbara Joan LeMoyne, 69, of Pueblo, Colorado, passed away July 5, 2005. Survived by her children, Rebecca (Jerry) Goodman, Arthur A. Todero, Corrie (Dan) Flores and Deanna (Richard) Barricklow; granddaughter, Evelyn Nimmo; siblings, David (Joyce) Socier, Janet (Jim) Anzlovar and Sally (Ron) Smith; 2 nephews; 1 niece; and special friends, James McGrath, Terry Jahay, Martha, Troy and Gina. Preceded in death by her parents, Arthur J. and Carolina M. Socier. Barbara was born June 10, 1936, in Saginaw, Michigan. She owned and operated a janitorial service and more recently, a speed dating service. She was proud of also working for Berry Fey Concert Producer. She was a great cook and enjoyed crafts. Her final gift was the donation of her corneas so someone else might see. At her request, there will be no viewing or services. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Dear Barbara,
We had known each other for quite some time, and I must say that I’ve never had a better friend than you. It began with my heart attak and subsequently joining your singles club. We have shared many great laughs as well as a few disappointments through the years. You were like the sister I never had.
You looked so very peaceful at the hospital after you passed on. I felt relieved that you were not feeling the pain and discouragement you had been feeling for the past year and then some. I loved you like that sister I never had.
My condolences go out to your entire family as well as the rest of your friends as we will all miss you very much. If there is ever anything I can do for any one of them, especially Cory or Deanne, I will be more than happy to do it, for the sister I never had.
