Barbara Ann Mizel Born to Homer and Helen Massey on August 22, 1932 in Pueblo, Colorado. She was an enthusiast of literature and an avid reader of early American history. Barbara was a wonderful cook, who enjoyed fashion and sports, as well as spending time in the mountains, especially the Uncompahgre wilderness of Lake City, Colo. She was fond of animals, particularly her West Highland Terriers. She will be remembered as a dedicated wife, mother and friend. Barbara Ann Massey Mizel, 79, passed away February 12, 2012. She is survived by her loving husband, Harvey Mizel, daughters, Rebecca (Johnny Lands, deceased) Mizel of Pueblo, Linda Stiles of Pueblo, Jennifer Mizel of San Francisco; grandsons Steven Stiles of Pueblo and Max Mizel of Denver; nephews John (Linda) Binford of Orange, Calif., Mark Binford of Pueblo and niece Jana (Richard) Roney of Seattle. She is preceded in death by her sister, Dorothy Beth Binford. The family wishes to thank Visiting Angels especially Lori Marquez and Parkview Hospital nurses Billie and Rachel for their excellent care.
