B. Frank Sweckard, 94, passed away Feb. 8, 2015. Survived by children, William Sweckard, James 'Jim' Sweckard, Rebecca Clay (Larry) Moser, Judie Clay Vinci, and Jennifer Clay Turner; niece, Mary Jean (Tom) Cuckow; grandchildren, Jarret, Willie, Mark, Luke and Brock Sweckard, John, Marcy, Molly and Jennie Moser, Dan and T.J. Vinci, Steve and Michelle Clay, Irene Turner and Audie, Cassie and Tabby Clay; great-grandchildren; great-great granddaughter; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Bessie Clay Sweckard; parents; sister, Pauline (Benny) Dietz; sons, Sam Clay and Tim Clay. Frank was born to Benjamin and Letha Sweckard on July 25, 1920, in Ordway, Colo. and served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He was a regional manager for the Agricultural Stabilization and Conservation Service (ASCS). Frank enjoyed family, travel, dances, farming and raising cows. The family would like to thank his granddaughter, Marcy, and caregivers, Eleanor, Colleen, Gilbert and Judy and his nurses, Ashley and Toni. Private family services. Burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery with military honors. In lieu of food and flowers memorials may be made direct to Sangre de Cristo Hospice, 1207 Pueblo Blvd Way, Pueblo, CO 81005.
