Arvid 'Bill' Marohn, 86, after his earthly stay was over, left to join our Lord on Feb. 23, 2008. Bill was born Nov. 24, 1921, in Annandale, Minnesota, to Gustav A. and Freda A. Marohn. Preceded in death by his parents; wife, Jean; sons, Michael, David and Steve; and sister, Ardis Marquette. Survived by his sister, Ruby (John) Webster of Ohio; grandchildren, Shannon Garcia of Pueblo, Brian Marohn of Michigan and Ginger Marohn of Louisiana. Left to remember him are his special friends and card game buddies, Bob Easton, Bill Easton, Ralph Marino, Tony Krasovic, Joe Misiaszek, Eldon John and Anna Jean Easton. Good friends also are, Earl and Shirley Miller and many friends from Trinity Lutheran Church where he has been a member for many years. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. Memorial service, 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 28, 2008, at Trinity Lutheran Church, 701 W. Evans. I am a second cousin of Arvid, grew up with him in Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Middleville, MN
