Arthur R. Miller, 86, passed away December 2, 2003, in Phoenix, Arizona. Survived by his daughters, Marilyn Poure, Joyce Ternynik, Bette Hild; sisters, Carrie (John) Jauch, Blanche Hibpshman, all of Pueblo, Ruth (Earl) Hibpshman, Kenai, Alaska; and numerous grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his wife, Minta Miller; parents, Clarence and Blanche Miller; brother, Rev. Frank Miller; sister, Ethel Jackson; and brother-in-law, Rev. Oscar Hibpshman. Arthur was born on March 29, 1917, in Salem, Illinois and grew up in Pueblo. He loved music and played the saxophone and was involved in the Phillips Crusaders Band. In more recent years, he enjoyed playing a duet with his sister Carrie accompanying him on the piano. He worked in the ship yards in California for many years and retired from the Rio Grande Railroad as a car inspector. Memorial services were held on Saturday, January 17, 2004.
