Anna 'Thelma' Herman, 105, born September 21, 1898, died April 26, 2004. Born to George E. Herman and Alice Gaddy Herman. Preceded in death by her brother, Warren Herman; sister, Grace H. Crocker; and nephew, Stephen Crocker. Leaves 3 great-nieces; 2 great-nephews; and 6 great-great nephews. Thelma was as a receptionist for Dr. James W. Hopkins and Dr. James A. Hopkins, retiring in 1963. Member of First Congregational Church and charter member of WWI Auxiliary Sunshine Barracks 1759.   1. I had the pleasure of knowing Thelma for many years, I became acquainted with Thelma as I was an insurance agent for Allstate Insurance and had her insured for quite some time.

    I have been retired for 16 years and have often thought of Thelma and what a very nice person she was.
