Anna May Ellis, 78, of Pueblo, Colo., passed away August 10, 2005. Survived by her children, Dave (Cheryl) Ellis of Pueblo, Kathy (Bud) Gaines of Denver, Robin (Del) Oliver of Liberal, Kansas and Lorrie (Ray) Ballard of Denver; grandchildren, Derek and Sheena Ellis, Nathan, Cory and Rachel Gaines, Keri Parker, Ryan Oliver, Amy (Todd) Lillard and Dori Ballard; and siblings, Dan (Peggy) Hayes of Colorado Springs, Marion Pendleton of Pueblo, Sharon Dalgleish of Denver and Taurus Lee Hayes. Preceded in death by her husband, Foster 'Buck' Ellis on Nov. 14, 1990; siblings, Jim Hayes, Norma Graeme and Don Hayes. Ann was born to James and Willie Hayes on June 22, 1927, in Pueblo. She was an LPN for Dr. Swartz and more recently for Dr. Capek. Ann's family and friends will remember her as being a wonderful care giver as well as a fabulous cook. She had a feisty personality with a love that was unconditional. Her dog Benji, and her roses were her passion. There will be no viewing. Cremation, Montgomery & Steward Crematorium. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m. Monday, August 15, 2005, at First Presbyterian Church, 10th and Court, with the Reverend Dr. Brad Munroe officiating.
